Certified Wound/Ostomy/Incontinence Nurse (CWOCN) – RNs certified in wound and ostomy care are available for consultation on patients with challenging wound care needs. The RN performs an evaluation and provides recommendations to the MD for treatment that facilitates healing of the wound and proper care of ostomy device.
